The fight is set and locked.

On September 12, Terence Crawford will face Canelo Alvarez. Now, while he is completely focused on the ring, Crawford knows that the upcoming war, probably the biggest boxing world has seen since the 2015 Mayweather-Pacquiao showdown, is as much about hearts and minds. It’s an altogether different playing field, and he needs to establish his dominance.

So, like any intelligent man, Crawford seemingly anticipated and chalked out a fine blueprint to make his pitch. Increasingly many believe that Bud Crawford, who moves up two divisions, may have the wherewithal to inflict a third career loss on the Mexican superstar. Crawford is not one to rest on his laurels. He will keep working hard to achieve the unthinkable at the Allegiant Stadium. But like any good general, Crawford knows. The most crushing defeat would be when his opponent’s fans cheer for him. And to achieve his objective, he made his first move.

Terence Crawford: A multi-front battle

On his Instagram post, urging Mexican fans to check out the limited edition ‘Viva Mexico’ TBC shirts, Terence Crawford wrote, “I have a special treat for all my Mexican fans!!!” The post featured images of four t-shirts in two sets of colors, black and white, having common logos and captions.

It’s not that Crawford will be the first fighter to reach out to the Mexican fans, supporting and screaming for Canelo. Back in 2007, when he faced Oscar De La Hoya, Floyd Mayweather did a walk-in wearing a Mexican sombrero. But rather than enticing the Mexican fans or taunting De La Hoya, he did the cameo to pay homage to his uncle, the great Roger Mayweather, who once wore a black sombrero during the face-off against the legendary Julio Cesar Chavez.

Crawford knows that he faces a daunting task. Canelo may have received a rap on the knuckle for the William Scull fight. But he still presents a formidable challenge. Crawford will have to put in his all if he wants to score a historic win.

Let’s join the party!!

This fan was quite enthusiastic about the initiative. They said, “Definitely gonna grab 2.” Given the historic significance of the fight, merchandise such as the ones offered by Crawford and others is likely to become memorable collectibles.

A taunt followed. “Wonder if Canelo is making Omaha shirts 😂,” said this user. For those in the know, Canelo is already big-time on merchandise. A first-rate businessman, the undisputed champion has a dedicated website through which he offers a variety of products, including t-shirts, hats, jackets, hoodies, and accessories like sticker packs and headbands.

The Mayweather connection, nevertheless, made its mark. “Channeling his inner Floyd Mayweather,” said this fan. It’s amazing to see how, years ago, as a young boxer, Mayweather could understand and utilize cultural symbolisms to his advantage.

Of course, quite a few were gung-ho about Crawford defeating Canelo. Like this fan said, “Go get it and come back with it, Bud!” Though cognizant of the risks involved, many fans would love to see Crawford score a win in what could be the biggest fight of his career. He could become boxing’s first three-division undisputed champion among men.

But the ‘other side’ was equally prepared: “Canelo gonna boil that crawfish 👏.” The standard narrative persists. Crawford is entering the super middleweight king’s den. The Mexican knows his domain very well and hence remains an overwhelming favorite to win.

It’s great to see how a big fight starts catching up the crowd’s imagination, particularly when the stakeholders themselves get involved.

Whether Crawford’s new venture gains success, time alone will tell. But it deserves appreciation. Beyond pure economics, his attempt to reach out and gain the confidence of people as he proceeds to square off against their biggest icon is a template others could follow.

Former American tennis star Chanda Rubin recently shared a heartfelt and candid memory from one of the most defining weeks of her career—one that involved a rare victory over the legendary Serena Williams and a moment of deep sportsmanship that has stayed with her ever since.

Chanda Rubin had the privilege of snapping Serena’s 21-match streak in 2002. She defeated Williams in a tightly contested three-set match 7-5 in the third. In her recollection during a recent podcast, Rubin highlighted not only the significance of the match itself but also what happened the very next day.

“That stands out as one of the highlights and, you know, winning that match and working through these tight moments. I remember after the match, Serena, she warmed me up the next day, because my coach, you know, like Serena, you know, they were like cooling off, right? But he’s like, you know, she needs a warm up,” recalled Rubin with a laugh.

“And you get to the semis of a tournament, there’s not a lot of bodies around you try to find somebody who may be working as a hitting partner back then, when we didn’t have the money to travel with entourages, so you have to find bodies to hit with and in the area, or other players and so he’s like, you know, Serena, can you warm up?” continued Rubin.

“And she warmed me up- which is unheard of,” she remembers fondly. “Most players would not do that after a loss, so I was so appreciative of it.

“And then after the warm up, she was just like “go win the tournament” I’m like- okay, so you know, you make a good point,” says Chanda Rubin with a laugh.

“I got to, you know, measure up here. And I ended up winning the tournament. And so it was, it was a lot of cool things that went into that week that was just part of a bit of a long road at that point in time. And, and I’m very much appreciative of it, you know yeah,” says Rubin as she affirms that this moment stands out as the most special moment of her career.

Rubin’s memory offers a glimpse into the quiet class of Serena Williams, often overshadowed by her on-court dominance and aura.

Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian are one of the most powerful couples in the world, not just in terms of their influence, but their shared wealth too.

Serena, 43, is one of the most celebrated tennis players in the world, even years into her retirement, and boasts a net worth of $300 million (per celebritynetworth.com) thanks to her many wins, business ventures, and lucrative endorsements.

Alexis, 42, is an internet entrepreneur and investor, best known for being the co-founder and former executive chairman of Reddit, and himself has a net worth of around $150 million.

However, when it comes to the shared division of their wealth among their two kids, daughters Olympia, seven, and Adira, one, the parents are all about learning the value of a dollar.

In a previous social media post, Alexis explained that their oldest receives an allowance of $7 a week for her own personal expenses and savings, although not without a bit of negotiation featuring her famous mom.

In exchange for chores, Olympia gets a quick buck from her parents, and Serena was in fact the one who drew up an actual contract to seal the deal. She acted as Olympia’s “counsel,” per Alexis, which put them on opposite ends of the matter.

“Serena was her lawyer in the negotiation,” he explained in a video shared on X. “I drew up a real contract. Her mom was her counsel, which was really frustrating. She’s gotta feed the dog, put her clothes in the hamper, makes her bed.”

Somehow, he quipped that the Olympian was even able to get her daughter “weekends off,” only required to do her chores five days a week. “We’re trying to create that flywheel between doing the work and getting the money, and then understanding that there are things you could want.”

Alexis revealed that at one point, she’d saved up almost $100 from her allowance, and wanted to purchase a tamagotchi watch worth $125. He explained the conversation they had in which he encouraged her to save up for another few weeks and earn the remainder herself.

Olympia looked so tall

That same cycle repeated itself when she wanted to buy an American Girl Doll dress, but realized she had nothing left in her piggybank. She, as Alexis described, “broke out the cute puppy eyes. Believe me, she knows how to work Papa.”

But her parents, Alexis in particular, wanted her to understand the “pain” of not having the money and then earning it instead of relying on a stable source. “I need [Olympia] to feel that little bit of pain of, like, ‘Ugh, I gotta wait two more weeks for that paycheck,’ and then start to remember, ‘Because I do this work, I get this money.'”

“We’re trying to create that flywheel between doing the work and getting the money, and then understanding that there are things you could want.”

He continued: “Neither Serena nor I grew up with wealth, so we’re both trying to navigate how to create the circumstances for her to be able to be a functional adult while also having resources that we couldn’t have imagined.”

“We’re trying to build the muscle: work = reward,” he wrote on X. “Good things come when you work for it.”

Charlie Woods, the son of golf legend Tiger Woods, will have to wait another year to achieve his dream of playing in the U.S. Open after failing to qualify for the second consecutive time.

The 16-year-old, who recently shared his thoughts on his father’s relationship with Vanessa Trump, is seen as a potential successor to his globally renowned father in pursuing a professional golf career. The young prodigy has already shown promise, setting a new record at the 2020 PNC Championship as the youngest participant at just 11 years old.

He had the privilege of teeing off alongside his father, a 15-time major winner, and continued to do so in 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024. He also participated in his first pre-qualifying tournament for a PGA Tour event at the Cognizant Classic.

However, his journey to participate in the next U.S. Open came to an end at a regional qualifying tournament at Wellington Golf Club, Florida.

Competing in his home state, Woods Jr. scored a three-over-par 75, falling short of the required 68 to secure his Final Qualifying spot. This marks the second year in a row that the aspiring golfer has been unable to clear this hurdle, meaning he will miss the tournament at Oakmont.

Before this, the teenager’s father spoke highly of how his son has been a pillar of support for him through recent physical and mental hurdles. Following his 2021 car accident that resulted in severe injuries and ongoing fitness struggles, PEOPLE magazine reported that the golf star has leaned on Charlie’s backing.

“Being a dad has helped him stay focused on his recovery,” they said. “At times, it’s been very difficult for him both physically and mentally.

“His leg injuries caused him extreme pain… He has worked very hard in physical therapy. He is a fighter and has been determined to get better, though.

“Tiger loves spending time with Charlie on the golf course, but he has a completely different vibe than Earl had while working with him.

“They’re all smiles. Tiger is definitely teaching him the right techniques, but there’s not the intensity that Earl had with him,” the insider noted. “It’s a total bonding experience. Tiger can be goofy and funny with Charlie. It’s not ‘all work and no play’ like Earl could sometimes be.”

A loving father, Tiger shared with ESPN his joy in playing golf with his son. He expressed: “Any time I get a chance to spend time with my son, it’s always special. And to do it in a competitive forum, the last couple of years have been magical, and to be able to do it again, we’re looking forward to it.”

The 15-time major champ has had to take a step back from golf this year after an operation on his Achilles, putting his ambitions for the 2025 Masters on hold. He filled in his fans about his health, remarking: “As I began to ramp up my own training and practice at home, I felt a sharp pain in my left Achilles, which was deemed to be ruptured.

“This morning, Dr Charlton Stucken of Hospital for Special Surgery in West Palm Beach, Florida performed a minimally-invasive Achilles tendon repair for a ruptured tendon.

“I am back home now and plan to focus on my recovery and rehab, thank you for all the support.”

John Fury believes Tyson Fury defeated Oleksandr Usyk in both of their epic fights last year.

He also claims that senior boxing officials have made a huge mistake by ‘stealing’ Fury’s belts, adding that his son now feels there’s ‘no more Gypsy King.’

Fury suffered consecutive defeats to Usyk last year, losing the first four-belt shootout in May via split decision, before suffering a unanimous decision defeat seven months later.

JUST IN: Devin Haney’s father ‘a grown man lying to the world’

Usyk became the first undisputed heavyweight champion in 25 years when he edged Fury in their first meeting, with two judges scoring the bout 115-112 and 114-113 in his favour, with the third having it 113-114 in Fury’s favour.

The Ukrainian then vacated his IBF strap to rematch Fury in December, earning a more convincing decision, with all three judges ruling the contest 116-112 for Usyk.

Fury Sr was part of a three-man corner for his son’s first defeat but was a notable absentee in the rematch for ‘personal reasons.’

He has finally broken his silence on his son’s all-time classics with Usyk, emphasising that Fury will not make a U-turn on his retirement as he believes he was robbed.

“He had them stolen off him, to be honest,” Fury Sr explained to Seconds Out Boxing.

“What can you say? When somebody’s paid you a shed load of money they seem to resent letting you stay champion as well…

“They probably didn’t want to pay him the same amount of money again, probably couldn’t afford to pay Tyson that same money again if they let him remain as champion.”

Fury hung up the gloves for a fourth time in January, just weeks after his second defeat to Usyk.

He hinted at reversing that decision last month, but his dad’s scathing review of the current situation won’t inspire much confidence among boxing enthusiasts.

“For me, he won both fights,” Fury Sr continued. “He didn’t look in fantastic shape in the second one.

“In the first one, he needed more rest time – he put a full camp in, seven weeks, got cut, he had three weeks rest, and he’s back in the gym for another eight weeks.

“You can’t do those things, so by the time he got in the ring for the first fight with Usyk he had overtrained; there was nothing left in him.

“But, he was facing a $10-15million fine, he was backed in a corner, I told him, ‘Take the fine, take the fine,’ I said, ‘They’re not going to fine you, because there’s no show without you.’”

Fury has been linked to a huge fight with fellow British pugilist Anthony Joshua if he returns to the sport.

‘AJ’ hasn’t fought since being brutally stopped by Daniel Dubois last September.

He remains keen on a showdown with Fury, but that fight now seems further away than ever after Fury Sr’s comments.

“Listen, for my money, [Tyson] won both fights, they stole his belts off him,” he concluded.

“They’ve taken the biggest seller out of the game, because without Tyson Fury there’s no dance partners.

“This [Usyk vs Daniel Dubois] fight, that’s never going to be a 95,000 crowd, you need a dance partner, and let me tell you, Tyson Fury ‘The Gypsy King’ is the best dance partner anyone can ever have…

“It’s bad business. They think, ‘OK — we’ll rob you today, let the dust settle, offer you a few more quid later on and get you back at it.’

“But guess what? They can’t do that with him now, because he’s had enough. He believes he’s had his belts stolen off him, which he has had. And he thinks, ‘Jog on, there’s no more ‘Gypsy King.’

“No disrespect to Usyk, great fighter, all-weight division fighter, but he hasn’t got the charisma, pulling power or selling power that Tyson Fury has.

“[He’s a] great fighter but you need to be more than a great fighter where them big dollars are concerned.”

Dubois is the next challenger to Usyk’s throne as the 27-year-old Londoner fights for undisputed heavyweight status at Wembley Stadium on July 19.

The pair have history, with Dubois’ right hand dropping Usyk in their first 2023 battle, which was ruled a ‘low blow’ as it floored the Ukrainian.

Usyk went on to win the fight stopping the Briton, but Dubois felt aggrieved and is keen to get his revenge.

Last month, the pair discussed their rivalry live in talkSPORT’s studios, where Usyk sparked an argument by bringing up a picture of the controversial low blow.

Devin Haney’s father, Bill Haney, has been accused of falsely claiming Jose Ramirez went to the hospital after fighting his son.

Trainer Robert Garcia says Haney Sr. put out a smokescreen on social media, claiming from a still image that Ramirez was busted up and needed medical help.

Ramirez lost to Haney on points in a 12-round bout that broke the top five for fewest punches thrown in history. However, as Garcia explained, the former world champion didn’t go anywhere near a hospital.

“Bill is a grown man,” Garcia pointed out to Fight Hub TV. “He is not a kid.

“Why are you trying to lie to the fans, to the crowd? Instead of apologizing for the type of fight that your son had. He ran and ran and ran.

“For Bill to post a picture of Jose in the ambulance after the fight, and say something like they hurt him because they had to send him to the hospital. He knows he is lying to himself.

“He knows he is lying to the world, and that disappoints me because he is a grown man. He’s not a kid, and he is a grown man. He knows exactly that there were no locker rooms in that arena because it was a small corner.

“It was in the street, so right there in New York, every fighter went to the back of the ambulance, and the doctors checked them.

“They released them, and we got in the car and drove to the hotel. That’s exactly what happened, and he knew that was going on,” added the respected coach.

Garcia vs Romero Haney Lopez ring

The co-feature to Ryan Garcia vs. Rolando ‘Rolly’ Romero could have blown a high-profile rematch apart. The unfathomable decision to pit two rivals on the same card and cross fingers they both win has obliterated super-fights in the past.

Deontay Wilder vs. Anthony Joshua fell foul to that master plan. Now Garcia vs. Haney 2, earmarked for their next fight in Saudi Arabia, has gone the same way.

It’s uncertain what Garcia and Haney will do next. Garcia could head to Las Vegas for a comeback, while Haney may head home to San Francisco for his next contest.

Haney survived multiple knockdowns against Garcia in April 2024. However, the New York State Athletic Commission wiped the loss from the former undisputed lightweight champion’s record. The move came after Garcia tested positive for a banned substance, leaving fans wanting a second helping.

The bright idea of pitting them against separate opponents only prolongs the big fight that fans wanted to see.

Golden Boy must ease Garcia back to winning ways before contemplating Haney again.

Meanwhile, Teofimo Lopez, who defeated Arnold Barboza Jr. on the card, could be an option for Haney.

“I had high hopes, and I always believed my son was going to become a hell of a fighter. But… I could never have imagined he’d become the biggest athlete in the world ever.”

Despite such praise from Floyd Mayweather Sr. for his legendary son Floyd Mayweather Jr., they haven’t always been on the best of terms with each other.

The feud between ‘Money’ Mayweather and his father is a complex and well-documented saga rooted in personal, professional, and familial tensions. Spanning over decades, the pair has seen periods of estrangement, public confrontations, and brief reconciliations. However, have you ever wondered when all of this began?

There were cracks in the relationship as early as 1993, when Mayweather Sr. was convicted of drug trafficking and sentenced to five-and-a-half years in prison. This left Mayweather without a primary trainer or a father during his formative years, and his 1996 Olympic bronze medal run, as he trained under his uncle, Roger Mayweather.

Mayweather Jr. would later claim that he was forced to raise himself, and couldn’t rely on his father or his mother. Mayweather Sr., however, claimed he had provided for his son throughout his childhood. Despite these issues, they largely stuck together, but that came to an end in 2000.

Sr. was out of prison in 1998 and had resumed his role as a trainer and manager until J. Prince came into the picture. In 2000, Mayweather fired his father and replaced him with Prince before defending his title against Gregorio Vargas. However, a meeting had taken place before this happened, which changed everything for Mayweather and his father.

What happened in the meeting between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Sr.?

While appearing in the ‘All the Smoke Fight’ podcast with Andre Ward, someone Prince has managed in the past, the music mogul turned boxing manager, shed light on how the meeting between Mayweather Jr. and Sr. went down. “What led to that meeting was the disrespect that was taking place where his father and him speaking publicly about one another,” Prince recollected.

Apparently, Prince had contacted Mayweather Jr.’s then-promoter Bob Arum of Top Rank and set up a meeting between the pair to stop them from “publicly disrespect[ing] one another.” Prince, Floyd, Arum, Mayweather Sr., and Todd duBoef were called to a “real nice restaurant out here in Vegas.” But things turned ugly when “I saw a note being passed to Floyd Mayweather(Sr), and one of the first things he asked me, ‘What you give my son to sign?’”

article-image

rince tried to calm Sr. down, suggesting they were not there to talk shop, but if Jr. was okay with it, they could proceed. This was met with friction from Jr., who quickly erupted, “’Nah, nah, nah, nah, we ain’t here for that. We ain’t here for that.’” Prince realized Mayweather Sr. was getting agitated by this, as he declared, “’Oh, man, I don’t care for somebody put a bullet in the back of my head.’”

Things escalated further when Mayweather Sr. stood up and started walking towards Prince, which prompted him to say, “Mr. Mayweather, Sir, you seem to be getting angry. But I want you to know I can’t take no punches.” This is when Mayweather Jr. jumped in. “Floyd [Jr.] stood up. Floyd [Jr.] ’s like, ‘No, no, no, no.’ And Floyd [Jr.] started taking his jacket off,” Prince recounted.

Mayweather Jr. had squared up against his own father, leaving Prince in shock. When asked whether Jr. was about to fight his father, Prince claimed“My reading of it is ‘You got to come through me,’ which I think was a really wise decision.” According to Prince, Floyd Mayweather was ready to fight rather than his father trying to fight Prince, and then they all had to deal with the repercussions.

Prince later ended up breaking things up between the father-son duo, but the damage was done, and things never went back to normal. Mayweather later separated from his father and started taking control of his career. However, the partnership with Prince wouldn’t last long either, as they parted ways in 2003 after a financial dispute. Though the father-son duo mended their relationship years later and are together today, getting to this point was in no way easy, given their history.

That just goes to show how complex the relationship between Floyd Mayweather and his father was.

Tiger Woods paid a visit to the White House on Thursday amid his blossoming romance with Vanessa Trump.

The professional golfer suited up for the occasion, posing for a picture with Indiana senator Jim Banks.

Woods, 49, was all smiles in the upload wearing a classic black suit, which he paired with a light blue button-down shirt and a tie in a darker shade.

Although it is unclear why the professional golfer was in Washington, DC, he previously met President Trump in the Oval Office in February.

At the time, he took part in meetings about the PGA Tour’s potential merger with the LIV Golf League and attended a Black History Month reception.

Page Six reported the following month that Woods is dating the president’s son — and Donald Trump Jr.’s ex-wife, Vanessa.

A source told us that the pair “have a lot in common,” explaining, “They’ve both gotten used to public scrutiny. They both know how to keep their private life private. They’re both parents.

“They’re a good match; they’re level-headed, they like to avoid drama, they share a lot of the same values,” the insider added.

We hear the couple are “taking it slow” but heading in a “serious … direction.”

The Daily Mail reported that Woods and Vanessa, 47, became an item in November 2024.

The duo made their romance Instagram-official in March, with Woods writing, “Love is in the air and life is better with you by my side! We look forward to our journey through life together.”

He concluded, “At this time we would appreciate privacy for all those close to our hearts.”

The golf champion was reportedly warned against dating Vanessa, with the Daily Mail claiming he replied, “F–k what people think.”

Woods was previously married to Elin Nordegren from 2004 to 2010, welcoming daughter Sam, 17, and son Charlie, 16, before divorcing over his infamous cheating scandal.

He has also been romantically linked to Olympian Lindsey Vonn, Kristin Smith and Erica Herman in recent years.

Vanessa, for her part, co-parents daughter Kai, 17, son Donald III, 16, son Tristan, 13, son Spencer, 12, and daughter Chloe, 10, with Donald Jr.

She and the businessman, 47, were married from 2005 to 2018.

Rory McIlroy and Erica Stoll are all set to nest in their plush new English home after the U.S. Open as the Northern Irishman prepares for next weekend’s PGA Championship.

McIlroy lived out his dream, nabbing the elusive Green Jacket at Augusta this April after edging out Justin Rose in a tense playoff to finally complete his Grand Slam.

With the PGA Championship on the horizon at the much-loved Quail Hollow course where McIlroy has clinched some stunning wins, the Holywood native and his family have yet another cause for jubilation.

It is claimed that their new home in Surrey is ready for the family to move in. The 35-year-old and Stoll often speak fondly of life across the pond despite setting up shop in Jupiter, Florida. Yet Stoll hasn’t been shy about her less-than-warm feelings for the region’s balmy weather.

On Netflix’s Full Swing chat with Martin Kaymer, McIlroy shared the inside scoop on his wife’s take on the sun-soaked state. Kaymer dished out the tea: “I saw her [Stoll] at a Starbucks once, and she said, ‘I really don’t like the sun.’ I said, ‘Your state’s called the Sunshine State, right?’

McIlroy later revealed his wife’s desire to spend more time back in the UK, saying: “If it was up to her, she wouldn’t move to England straightaway, but she definitely wants to spend more time there.”

Following his thrilling Players Championship win, McIlroy’s playoff opponent J. J. Spaun hinted at the family’s plans, saying on the Fore Play podcast: “He’s super cool. We were talking about the UK.

“I know he’s Northern Irish, but I asked him if he ever hangs out in London. Because my wife has got a really good friend that lives out there and loves going there. He said, ‘Oh yeah, I’m building a house out there.'”.

The Telegraph has since confirmed that a new home has been built for the Masters champion in Wentworth, Surrey. McIlroy, wife Erica Stoll, and daughter Poppy will make the move after the U.S. Open in June.

After Augusta, the family visited their new home to see the final touches, with McIlroy recalling: “It was fun to see and we could have stayed in it, but we wanted to get over to Holywood [his hometown].”

Tiger Woods’ son Charlie Woods fell short in his quest for the 2025 US Open after shooting a three-over-par 75 at Florida’s Wellington Golf Club.

The 16-year-old was teeing it up in one of the many regional qualifying events where a limited number of players make it through to one of the 13 Final Qualifying sites ahead of next month’s championship at Oakmont.

Woods Jr was seven shy of the 68 score needed to advance through to final stage, with Arth Sinha (66), Matthew Marigliano (67), Tyler Stachkunas (68) and Carson Kiawonn (68) progressing.

His 75 is an improvement on last year’s effort, where he carded a nine-over 81 at he Legacy Golf & Tennis Club.

The golfing prodigy, who has starred in five PNC Championships alongside his father, Tiger, had a successful 2024 campaign where he qualified for his first US Junior Amateur Championship. He was unable to progress to the match play knockout stages at Southern Hills, however, after shooting 22-over-par for 36 holes.

The maximum age for competing at the US Junior is 18 so Charlie has another three further years of eligibility for the event.

Woods was back on the big stage earlier this year in the prestigious Sage Valley Junior Invitational, where he finished T25th at 11-over-par after rounds of 78, 73, 73 and 75.

He ended the 72-hole event 20 strokes behind winner Miles Russell, the no.1-ranked played in the AJGA rankings.

His next PNC Championship appearance alongside Dad, Tiger, could be in doubt after the 15-time Major winner underwent surgery for a ruptured achilles tendon in March.

The PNC takes place in December, nine months after his surgery, and the use of carts is allowed so it seems like there is a good chance the pair could tee it up again, albeit there is no guarantee.

They lost out to Team Langer in a playoff last year for their second runner-up finish in the family event, which is open to Major and The Players Championship winners and their family members.
