The YouTubers have both boxed before, with Jake notably fighting Mike Tyson and Logan facing Floyd Mayweather in an exhibition bout

Brothers Jake and Logan Paul have seemingly teased that they could meet in a boxing match, after releasing a digital poster on Tuesday.

The American pair, who both made their names as social-media stars, have competed in the boxing ring numerous times in recent years.

Jake, 28, is 11-1 as a professional and most recently beat heavyweight legend Mike Tyson, outpointing the 58-year-old in November. Logan, 29, has predominantly fought in exhibition bouts, including a contest with sporting great Floyd Mayweather in 2021.

And on Tuesday (28 January), Logan took to Instagram to share a digital poster, which showed him facing off with Jake. The caption read: “The moment you’ve waited a decade for… March 27 on @streamonmax.”

Jake and streaming service Max were both listed as collaborators on the Instagram post.

MMA Fighting reported: “A formal announcement about the event is expected this week, but sources told MMA Fighting’s Damon Martin that no fight was confirmed with the tease from the Paul brothers, and it’s unlikely that’s an accident.

Earlier on Tuesday, Jake told the All The Smoke Fight show that Logan was almost chosen as his opponent for November’s record-breaking Netflix fight, before Tyson was picked.

“I’m okay with fighting my brother, because I wouldn’t have to be the one that dealt with losing,” Jake said. “Seriously. Emotionally, if that would scar him, then he shouldn’t do it. But if he’s going to sign up, I don’t have to be the one to lose.”

The 28-year-old also joked that the opportunity to get revenge on Logan for beating him up as a kid “plays into it a little bit”.

Logan has mainly featured in WWE since 2021, although he did box Conor McGregor’s former teammate Dillon Danis in 2023. Logan won via disqualification after a brawl took place in the ring.

Most recently, Logan was linked with a boxing match against McGregor in India, but the former UFC champion suggested last week that the exhibition bout has fallen through.

‘The Problem Child’ has fought many stars within combat sports over the years, but has named the one opponent who stood out from the rest in terms of punching power

YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul has named Tommy Fury as the hardest-hitting opponent he has ever faced in the ring.

The two stars have been long-time rivals and have traded barbs online on multiple occasions. The pair had several issues trying to make the fight before they finally settled the score in the ring back in 2023. Despite knocking Fury down in the last round, Paul was eventually handed the first loss of his professional career – losing via split decision.

Since then, ‘The Problem Child’ has got back to winning ways and has defeated the likes of Nate Diaz and Mike Perry. The 28-year-old took on former heavyweight world champion Mike Tyson in his last outing back in November. While he was unable to knock the 58-year-old out, the young American cruised to a unanimous decision victory.

With a professional record of 11-1, Paul has faced many big names already in his short career in the ring and has now revealed which opponent hit the hardest. Speaking on an episode RING CHAMPS, the American said: “Probably Tommy. I think more so his timing. I think timing is more important than anything. Tyron (Woodley) was strong, Mike Tyson was strong, but Tommy had better timing and better placement of punches.”

Fury hasn’t fought since he defeated KSI on points back in October 2023. He was due to take on Darren Till earlier this month but pulled out of the fight after his rival threatened to kick him in the head if he was losing the fight. Since then, the Brit has called for a rematch with Paul.

“Right, so I’ve just woke up and seen Logan Paul talk on his podcast yet again about how I don’t want to fight Jake and that I’m running scared. I’ve seen Jake tweet the other day about how he offered me x,y,z on Netflix. I just wanted to come on here and say that no one here is running from this fight,” Fury said.

“I’ve beat you once already, I handed you your first loss. The minute you stepped in there with a real boxer… you lost fair and square. I can give you a second loss, that’s not a problem. But let’s talk some serious numbers down the phone. If you want to get touch, you know where I am. It’s as easy as that. I can come back after a year and beat the pair of you. At the end of the day, if you want to fight, let’s talk some serious numbers… you know where I am.”

Responding to Fury’s demands, Paul said: “What absolute muppet. Buddy you just pulled out of a fight for the 3rd time. You have ZERO credibility. I offered you $8M dollars and you ran away from it. And now you got dumped by Molly, getting sued by DAZN and still can’t call a shot without your dad. GTFOH.”

  • Logan and Jake Paul tease boxing match set for March 27, stirring up excitement among fans.
  • Jake Paul focuses on boxing with recent wins, while Logan Paul veers towards wrestling.
  • Conor McGregor’s fight against Logan Paul canceled due to UFC contract obligations.

Controversial YouTube and social media stars Logan and Jake Paul are teasing a potential boxing match between each other, posting onto social media what is now expected to be the day of the bout. The highly-anticipated match between the controversial YouTube stars, which fans of the brothers have supposedly “waited a decade” for, is slated to take place on March 27.

The famous YouTuber brothers made a seemingly head-scratching decision several years ago when they began competing in the sport of boxing, with both debuting in 2018. While Logan more recently gravitated more towards wrestling, controversially winning the WWE United States Championship against Rey Mysterio in 2023, Jake seems more planted in boxing. He most recently made headlines for winning a match against 58-year-old Mike Tyson last year, with his brother Logan there to support him. Now, however, the Paul brothers will be on opposing sides of the ring, should the fight go through.

The announcement of the potentially impending boxing match between Logan Paul and Jake Paul came via Twitter, with both brothers posting a fight poster facing off with each other. The relatively simple poster features the brothers staring each other down, featuring a red background dotted with plenty of lights, along with the date of March 27 and the Max logo. While interestingly on an entirely different streaming service than Netflix, which is where the Paul vs. Tyson fight was streamed, the announcement is somewhat vague, although Max’s official Twitter account has retweeted both of their posts.

Although one of Logan Paul’s potential opponents may be barred by a contract, Jake Paul has one claiming to be ready to go. Boxer Tommy Fury has challenged Jake Paul to a rematch, but each camp has been critical of the other, with both throwing claims at the other for supposedly declining or backing out of potential proposals. While the planning of fights against more established fighters has proven shaky, the potential Paul vs. Paul fight will hopefully be one that actually happens.

Nothing is set in stone but Terence Crawford appears to be on the verge of landing the mega-fight he’s been longing for.

Two weight classes and 14 pounds is ostensibly a huge jump but for Crawford, he’s perfectly fine with giving Canelo Alvarez a size advantage. As previously reported by The Ring, the pair are crossing their t’s and dotting their i’s as conclaves continue. With the two seemingly on a collision course, the opinions of the boxing world are split right down the middle.

Jaron Ennis, The Ring’s No. 1 ranked welterweight and current IBF belt holder, admits that he’ll be a fan if that fight actually takes place. As for how things will play out, he isn’t among observers who are on the side of Alvarez. He also isn’t on Team Crawford’s side either. From his point of view, a matchup between those two can go either way.

READ MORE;‘Internet Thug’ Instantly Regrets Remark at Terence Crawford’s Unfortunate Past

“That’s a good fight,” admitted Ennis to YSM Sports Media. “A 50/50 fight.”

Ennis, ironically enough, chased Crawford. Now though, he isn’t focused on the future Hall of Famer anymore. Their paths aren’t likely to cross and the Philly star is putting that behind him.

Crawford, 37, is on his last legs. The sand in his hourglass is dwindling and protracting his time in the game isn’t something he’ll pursue. When last seen, The Ring’s No. 1 ranked junior middleweight eked out a unanimous decision win over Israil Madrimov in his 154-pound debut.

Alvarez, on the other hand, made two routine defenses of his super middleweight throne. Neither Jaime Munguia nor Edgar Berlanga presented him with many problems but Ennis has a feeling that the much smaller Crawford would. The issue, unsurprisingly, is the weight.

Crawford (41-0, 31 KOs) has always been light on his feet, elusive, and flat-out hard to hit. Those quick hands and even quicker feet, however, might be a bit slower with the added weight. Will the pound-for-pound star fight like a man who’s moving in quicksand? Or will he be as fast as ever? Those are questions that Ennis wants to find out.

“I’m pretty sure it’s gonna be a little difficult. He’s gonna have to put on an extra 14 pounds so he might be a little slower or who knows? He could be faster. I don’t know. We’ll see on fight night how he’ll look.”

UFC bantamweight champion Merab Dvalishvili continues to blow everyone’s mind with his cardio.

Many have wondered how Dvalishvili (19-4 MMA, 12-2 UFC) can push such an incredible pace seamlessly, and famed coach Firas Zahabi believes it’s simply natural. Dvalishvili’s cardio was on full display when he retained his bantamweight title by rallying to outlast Umar Nurmagomedov at UFC 311.

After seeing that, Zahabi compared “The Machine’s” cardio to undefeated boxing legend Floyd Mayweather.

“His conditioning is just unreal,” Zahabi said on his YouTube channel. “I’ve seen guys get caught on drugs and EPO, who didn’t have cardio like him. I’m not saying he’s on EPO. I’m just saying, like, even if you are on EPO, you just don’t have that level of cardio.

“Like there’s only one other guy I’ve ever seen with cardio like that, and I will tell you it’s Mayweather. When he sits on the stool, he doesn’t even breathe. And I’m not saying any of these guys are doping. I don’t think Mayweather dopes at all or Merab is doping. I’m just saying it’s genetic.”

Zahabi explains that Dvalishvili’s cardio is not something you can teach or train for.

“You can go and do their workout, you can go and try to copy them. It’s useless,” Zahabi said. “It’s totally useless. It’s got to be genetic. It can’t be, ‘This guy is doing a secret formula.’ That would really blow my mind. That would really shock me. No, it’s genetic. Just how the length of your arm is genetic, just like your reflexes are partly genetic.

“You can always improve your reflex, you can always improve your cardio, but you have a limit. The size of your arteries, how big they are, your VO2 max. You have a genetic ceiling. You have a genetic potential. His potential is great, so he’s accentuated by training. He’s made himself (have) even better cardio because he’s training. You’re not going to get that level of cardio by following his routine.”

Why does Nicole ask Jason to lower his expectations of winning an Olympic Gold?

Meanwhile, Jason asks his wife, Mickey, what she thinks of women’s boxing. As he has never coached a girl, he is unsure what to do. So Mickey encourages Jason to teach boxing to girls. Five years after the incident Claressa has now become a boxer fighting matches. Furthermore, Claressa also has a nickname as a boxer, and she is called T-Rex because of her tiny hands. Now, Claressa is dedicating her life to boxing, and she is training hard every single day. At home, Jackie (Claressa’s mother) is busy drinking and hanging out with men, not bothered to care for her children. One day after practice, Jason needed to leave early, so Zay dropped Claressa home, and they bonded.

Along with regular matches, Claressa is having a tryout to represent the United States at the Olympics. At the 2012 National Championship, Claressa defeats her opponent Kira, who is much older and more experienced than Claressa. When the reporters ask Claressa how she feels, Claressa is not that happy as she thinks the score is low. However, Jason cheers Claressa up as Claressa will go to China for the qualifiers. At the event, Jason meets Nicole, Head of Marketing and Media Relations for USA Boxing. As they talk, Nicole asks Jason to keep the expectations for the Olympics low as the USA has not won a gold medal since 2004. In her room, Claressa is hopeful while talking to her siblings, promising them a better future after Claressa wins gold in the Olympics.

Why is Claressa upset with Jason?

After a chat with Nicole, Jason is taking Claressa’s training seriously and has put Claressa on a strict diet. While training Jason realizes Claressa and Zay like each other. On the drive home, Jason asks Claressa to keep her mind focused on winning the gold and only after that to think about dating a boy. Although Claressa agrees to do what Jason says, Claressa still goes on a date with Zay. They now come to Zay’s house, where Zay is trying to sleep with Claressa. So Claressa stops Zay and says when she was a child Jackie’s friend used to touch Claressa inappropriately. Hence, Claressa needs to take things slow. Thankfully, Zay understands Claressa.

When Claressa gets home, there is a party, and Jackie is drunk. One of Jackie’s friends tries to dance with Claressa, so Claressa punches him. Immediately, Jackie kicks Claressa out. With no one else to turn to, Claressa calls Jason, who brings her home. The arrangement now is for Claressa to stay with Jason and his family. It’s time for Claressa to head to China, and Claressa has the awful news that Jason will not be able to go with Claressa as only authorized coaches are allowed. This news upsets Claressa deeply. In the first match of the trials against Pooja Rani, Claressa wins easily. Claressa does not have filters while talking to the reporters.

Former world champion Duke McKenzie has urged British heavyweight champion Tyson Fury to consider returning to boxing.

Fury recently announced his retirement through a video, shutting down speculation about a potential clash with Anthony Joshua this year. The heavyweight division had been abuzz with talk of Fury finally settling his rivalry with Joshua, a fight fans have long awaited.

Fury’s decision comes after back-to-back defeats to Oleksandr Usyk, considered the division’s top operator. Despite those setbacks, Fury’s career still held the potential for blockbuster events, drawing massive commercial interest.

Optimism remains that Fury could be lured back into the ring, with Saudi boxing chief Turki Alalshikh reportedly interested in holding talks to facilitate a return. Fury previously retired in 2022 after defeating Dillian Whyte, only to make a comeback, suggesting that retirement may not be permanent.

At 36 years old, Fury remains one of the most technically gifted fighters in the sport. McKenzie, however, believes that if Fury chooses not to fight again, he could thrive on the promotional side of boxing.

Speaking to talkSPORT.com, McKenzie said, “One hundred per cent, it probably will happen [a Fury return for a Joshua fight]. He’s said the same thing several times, and then something comes to his mind when he gets bored, and he says, ‘I have to do the only thing I can do,’ and that is boxing.

“I don’t see him as a TV analyst. I don’t think he has the mentality for that. His forte would be staying in the sport, maybe as a promoter or a manager. He’d be great at that if he chooses not to come back. But I just think he still has another fight in him.”

A potential Fury-Joshua bout remains one of boxing’s biggest attractions, even without world titles at stake. Joshua, too, is looking to recover after a brutal stoppage defeat to Daniel Dubois in September.

Despite their current predicaments, a Fury-Joshua fight could generate enormous paydays, especially with the possibility of a two-fight deal. While reports of the fight being worth £500 million were dismissed by Saudi boxing figurehead Alalshikh, McKenzie insists Fury shouldn’t leave lucrative opportunities on the table.

“Yeah, whatever they offer him, whether it’s £100 million or £200 million, take it,” McKenzie added. “I still believe he will come out of retirement, make no mistake about that.”

Anthony NlebemHead of Sports at BusinessDay Media, a seasoned Digital Content Producer, and FIFA/CAF Accredited Journalist with over a decade of sports reporting.Has a deep understanding of the Nigerian and global sports landscape and skills in delivering comprehensive and insightful sports content.

Tyson Fury is retired from boxing for now but Duke McKenzie still believes he should remain in the sport in some capacity.

Fury decided to hang up his gloves releasing a video confirming his retirement, despite intense talk of finally setting his heavyweight rivalry with Anthony Joshua this year.

The ‘Gypsy King’ had suffered back-to-back defeats against the division’s leading operator Oleksandr Usyk, but his career still had potential of drawing some commercial blockbuster nights.

Although there is still optimism that Fury will step in the ring with Joshua, given Saudi boxing chief Turki Alalshikh intends to hold talks to try and lure him back into the squared circle.

Fury also retired last in 2022 after beating Dillian Whyte, but life outside of the sport wasn’t for him, and he made a U-turn and was lured back into some big fights.

He is now 36-years-old and despite being at the twilight end of his career, is still an extremely gifted technical fighter.

And ex-world champion McKenzie believes he should return, but if he chooses not to, should try his hand at promoting fighters on the other side of the fence.

He told talkSPORT.com: “100 per cent, it probably will happen [lured out of retirement for Joshua fight].

“He’s said the same thing several times, and then something comes in his mind a few months on when he gets bored.

It says ‘ I have to do the only thing IO can do’ and that is boxing. And I don’t see him as a TV analyst.

“I don’t think he has the mentality for that. I think his forte would be staying in the sport, but maybe as a promoter or a manager.

“I think he’d be great at that if he chooses not to come back, he will always be involved in boxing.

“But I just think he still has another fight in him.”

Fury and Joshua still promises to be one of the biggest fights in boxing, despite no world titles likely to be on the line.

Joshua is too looking to bounce back after being on the receiving end of a brutal stoppage defeat to Daniel Dubois in September.

But despite their current predicaments, the pair could earn huge paydays for agreeing to a showdown, particularly if it is a two-fight deal.

Reports surprisingly indicated that the fight could be worth £500 million, but they were dismissed by Saudi kingpin Alalshikh.

Although McKenzie still believes it would be a mistake for Fury to leave the lucrative opportunities behind.

He added: “Yeah whatever they offer him whether it is £100 million or £200 million, take it.

“I still believe he will come out of retirement, make no mistake about that.”

For now Fury is being left to his own devices and has yet to make any further comment on his retirement.

His promoter Frank Warren is satisfied with his decision, and doesn’t plan to contact him and attempt to reverse his plan.

Boxing icon Tyson made arguably the most memorable celebrity appearance in wrestling history with WWE in 1998.

From January to March that year Tyson was a regular on Monday Night Raw as the company built towards WrestleMania 14.

The fighter was seen cheering on Austin at the Royal Rumble, the Texan going on to win the multi-man match and earn a championship opportunity at Mania.

It’s now the stuff of legend that Tyson played the role of guest enforcer at Boston’s Fleet Center, initially siding with champion Shawn Michaels and his DX group, before eventually aiding Austin to his famous championship win.

One off-appearances aside, the controversial figure and lifelong wrestling fan never returned to WWE for a long-term storyline.

One top company producer admits no concrete plans for such a comeback were ever firmly thrust on to the planning table, but did express regret that more hadn’t been done at the time.

Speaking on his Something to Wrestle With podcast, Bruce Prichard admits he’d sooner have had Tyson in the ring – as a wrestler.

“I would have liked to have done it in more than just a referee capacity or a side capacity,” he bemoaned of Tyson’s nineties stint.

“I would loved to have seen Mike in the ring. He could have done a f bang-up job.”

Tyson himself, Prichard says, was more focused on reviving and reestablishing his boxing career back in 1998, meaning a long-term stay in wrestling was never likely.

But what of a potential match for the Baddest Man on the Planet, had things been different? The former wrestling champion says the answer is obvious.

“I think the fantasy, especially at that time frame, was Tyson and Steve Austin,” he explained. That was the holy grail of outside people who could’ve worked with Steve.

“Whether or not Steve would’ve liked to have done that, I don’t know, but to me, that would be the one where I’d say: ‘I’d like to make that happen.”

While admitting Tyson, who boasted 12 first round KO victories in his boxing career, had a chequered past, the Rattlesnake seemed to enjoy his company – with one noted exception.

“It was all good working with Mike Tyson,” he explained. “The first time I met Mike, he called me: ‘Cold Stone.’ He kept calling me that, even though we did several shows together.

“I used to make him mad. I’d say to him: ‘Why you gotta call me ‘Cold Stone’? It’s damn easy… I’d do it in character, barking at him. He’d say: ‘Okay, Steve,’ but sure enough, he’d call me ‘Cold Stone’ the next time.”

Austin went on: :”The guy I met was intelligent… you got to give the guy credit. He hasn’t made the of the decisions in his life, but hey, he’s owned up to all of them too. I enjoyed the guy [and] he did well for our company.

“That whole issue with stone Cold, or ‘Cold Stone,’ as he’d say, was good stuff. The Austin-Tyson story line was super for our business.”

Tyson pocketed $3m for his short WWE run but, owing to mounting debts at the time, barely saw any of the lucrative pay-out.
