Boxing star Gervonta Davis has left fans blown away with a new long-hair look.
‘Tank’ has become one of the most iconic faces in the sport, and currently holds the WBA lightweight world title.
The American superstar’s next fight against Lamont Roach appeared to be cancelled after he announced the news on social media.
But that decision appears to have since been reversed and he has made a return to training, hitting the gym to prepare for the pencilled in title defence.
Although it is actually a surprising new look that has caught the attention of fans within his most recent social media post.
He posted a series of snaps from around his return to the gym, but one left fans bewildered.
The 30-year-old showed off a new look with a long hair in the style of a pony tail, a sharp contrast to his normal appearance.
And social media users could barely believe their eyes, with one writing: “Is that even him?”
Another agreed: “That doesn’t even look like Tank, wtf.”
One fan joked: “He in his samurai mode, nobody is taking this man out.”
A fan pointed out: “I’m sure they’re about to be braided so it’s straightened.”
One even suggested: “Honestly, until someone beat him in the ring I say Tank can do as he pleases within the law.
“They said Oscar De La Hoya and Sugar Ray Leonard were pretty boys as well, and they turned out alright.”
Davis will not be distracted by the viral post, and is instead focusing on his next outing in the squared circle.
But surprisingly the American has declared that 2025 could well be his final year in the sport.
He incredibly declared he would hang up his gloves, despite a whole host of potential fights being on the table before his career is over.
And Davis has since doubled down on his remarkable claim, insisting he is struggling with the mental side of fame coming from the sport.
